Amy Federman
Amy is a highly experienced writer, passionate marketer, fastidious editor,
and voracious reader with a track record of success in corporate
communications, business writing, and publishing. Most recently, she is the co-author with Doug Conant of the Wall Street Journal bestselling business book, The Blueprint: 6 Practical Steps to Lift Your Leadership to New Heights.
She also writes thoughtful vignettes on the good stuff—the things that make life worth living— on her new substack, celebration.
As ConantLeadership’s Editor in Chief and Director of Content, Amy has collaborated closely with Doug Conant and other respected influencers to
produce dozens of written resources aimed at celebrating and demystifying the
craft of leadership. Her ghostwritten works have appeared in high-profile
publications like Harvard Business Review
and the Association for Talent
Development (ATD) Manual as well
as across a variety of digital touchpoints in the business space.
As a
freelance writer, Amy has also worked with various corporate clients to
research and develop white papers and other assets that have been leveraged to
reach a variety of marketing goals.
With expertise in content, digital marketing, and
communications strategy, Amy helped design and deploy the social media approach
that has elevated ConantLeadership’s reach into the hundreds of thousands over the past 5 years.
Amy is a proud graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in writing. She lives with her husband and fellow Emerson alum, Max, in South Philadelphia.
